Guaranteed Transfer Courses
To help you avoid taking unnecessary courses and quickly earn your degree, Colorado has developed a general education curriculum (gtPathways) that forms the core of all A.A. and A.S. degrees offered by public two-year community colleges in the state and the core of most bachelor's degrees offered by public four-year colleges and universities in the state.Ìý All gtPathways courses are guaranteed to transfer between two-year and four-year public colleges and universitiesÌýin the state, including CU Â鶹ӰԺ, and count toward general education requirements at the receiving institution.

Guided Pathways
Colorado also has developed Statewide Transfer Articulation Agreements (Degrees with Designation) that allow you to graduate from a Colorado community college with a 60-credit associate degree with designation, such as an Associate of Arts (A.A.) Ìýin English or an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Geology; enroll with junior status at a four-year university; and complete the bachelor's degree in that major in no more than an additional 60 credits (for a total of 120 credits).

Building on or in addition to these STAAs, the College of Arts and Sciences has created CU Â鶹ӰԺ specific transfer guides (four-year courses maps) for all the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degreesÌýoffered in the college.Ìý Most of the these course maps guide students to complete an A.A. or A.S. degree before transferring to CU Â鶹ӰԺ, but a small number guide students through the first two or three semesters at a community college and then have them transfer to CU Â鶹ӰԺ before completing an associate degree. Ìý
