Mairi-Jane Fox, PhD is a sustainability strategist and expert in impact investing, innovative finance, and ecological economics. She currently serves as Director of Training at the Center for Sustainable Private Wealth.Her career spans roles at the forefront of sustainability, climate innovation, and financing solutions for a regenerative economy. She was a Fellow at the Innovative Finance Initiative, and has served on the leadership team at Arbor Day Carbon, a carbon markets startup, where she led the demand team focused on corporate carbon strategy. She also served as the first ESG Director at Techstars, a global pre-seed venture capital firm and startup accelerator, and as a professor of economics and finance at Regis University's Anderson School of Business, where she directed the Sustainable Economic Enterprise Development (SEED) institute.With a PhD in natural resources and MS in ecological economics, Mairi-Jane has over two decades of experience working with organizations across sectors on sustainability strategy, nature-based climate solutions, and participatory stakeholder engagement. She has co-authored academic articles, contributed book chapters, and delivered a TEDx talk on reimagining how we measure economic success. She was also a producer at the OpEd Project, championing underrepresented expert voices on the world's most pressing challenges.A highly skilled facilitator and Vedic meditator shaped by a global upbringing, Mairi-Jane is a mother who believes the next generation of leaders has the power to build the world we all deserve.
