Dr. Özlem Tuba Koç brings 17 years of marketing strategy and data analytics expertise to the Leeds School of Business. A recipient of the Dean's Faculty Teaching Award and a Faculty Impact Award finalist, Dr. Koç holds a PhD from Georgia State University and combines rigorous academic training with real-world problem-solving skills in her graduate and undergraduate courses.

Her research explores critical questions in international business strategy, including a recent publication examining foreign market exits of poorly performing retailers. As a member of the Leeds AI Advisory Committee on Teaching, Dr. Koç helps shape how AI technologies can enhance business education. Beyond the classroom, she has consulted for the Op-Ed Project, applying her analytical expertise to support the nonprofit's mission of amplifying underrepresented voices in public discourse.
