Scholarships Available
Applications are now open for Academic Year 2026-2027 scholarships. Applications are due March 15. These awards will be processed in Fall 2026. You only need to complete one application for most Geological Sciences scholarship opportunities as well as other scholarship opportunities on campus.听
In Spring 2024, the Geological Sciences Department awarded $75,950 in scholarships and our students received an additional $15,950 from other scholarship opportunities on campus. On average, Geology students were offered $2,550 in scholarships. It is well worth your time to complete the application!

T. Keith Marks Scholarship in Geological Sciences
- There is one Geology scholarship that requires an additional short answer question called the 鈥淭. Keith Marks Scholarship in Geological Sciences.鈥
- Preference given to students with interest in the oil and gas industry, so please mention that in the extra short answer question for the Marks scholarship.
- You must apply separately for AY 2026-27 for the T. Keith Marks scholarship even if you already applied for Spring 2026.
