Melanie Skocy (she/her/hers) is originally from Illinois and holds a B.A. in English from Northern Illinois University. She later earned her M.S. in College Student Personnel from Arkansas Tech University.

Her professional journey has included multiple roles in residential education, where she developed a strong commitment to student advocacy, leadership development, and creating inclusive, supportive environments for students. Melanie is particularly passionate about developing equitable and efficient processes that improve the student experience and strengthen organizational effectiveness.

Outside of work, Melanie enjoys reading, playing board and video games,Ìý and spending meaningful time with friends and family (including her pets).
