Hello! My name is Sarita and I am adopted from India and grew up in South Central Pennsylvania near Harrisburg, PA.ÌýI graduated from The Pennsylvania State University (PSU) in 2015 with a B.S. in psychology and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS).
I began my professional career working with students requiring individualized support in public schools, and transitioned to boarding schools soon thereafter - that is where I began to fall in love with res life.ÌýAdditionally, I earned my certification in Teaching English to Foreign Learners (TEFL).ÌýI moved to Colorado in June of 2022 and started to work in higher ed, which led me to CU.ÌýI am currently working towards a project management certification as well as an MS in Organizational Leadership.
In my free time I enjoy collecting vinyl records, watching movies, spending time with friends, reading, paddle boarding, hiking, camping and traveling with my dog, Ridge.
