Â鶹ӰԺ

Korean pianist Suyeon Kim is a teaching professor of collaborative piano at the Â鶹ӰԺ, where she has been on the faculty since 2013. An experienced and versatile collaborator, she has worked extensively with both instrumentalists and vocalists across a wide range of repertoire.

Kim holds a Master of Music in piano accompanying and chamber music from the Eastman School of Music and a Doctor of Musical Arts in collaborative piano from the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied with Jean Barr and Anne Epperson. She was also a fellow at the Music Academy of the West, where she studied with Jonathan Feldman.

She has served as a collaborative pianist for the Meadowmount School of Music, the Sphinx Performance Academy, the National Trumpet Competition, the Music Teachers National Association Competitions, the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra Young Artist Competition, the Colorado Flute Association Competitions, the International Double Reed Society Conference, ClarinetFest and the International Horn Society Symposium. Additional past appearances include the 2026 National Flute Association Convention in Portland, the 2016 National Flute Association Convention in San Diego and the 2012 Bassfest in Austin.

Kim has performed at major venues including Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York, as well as the Seoul Arts Center, Sejong Center, Youngsan Hall and Kumho Art Hall in South Korea. She has also been featured as a collaborative artist on KMFA, and recordings with her collaborators are available on Spotify and iTunes.
