The Center for Neuroscience serves as a nodal administrative structure the purposes of which are to organize and foster the development of neuroscience research and teaching at CUÌýÂ鶹ӰԺ. TheÌýcenter faculty membersÌýare affiliated with 13 differentÌýdepartments and institutesÌýat CUÌýÂ鶹ӰԺ. The Center for Neuroscience:Ìý
- Administers the CUÌýÂ鶹ӰԺ Neuroscience PhDÌýprogram
- Fosters interdisciplinary interdepartmental research and interaction
- Obtains both federal and corporate funds to support the development of neuroscience at CUÌýÂ鶹ӰԺ
- Acts as a focal point for interaction with the neuroscience community at large such as national organizations and programs at other universities
- Fosters interest in neuroscience among undergraduates at CUÌýÂ鶹ӰԺ
