Financing Your Degree

• U.S. federal student aid: Students in the MS-DS on campus can apply for graduate and professional student financial aid and other funding opportunities (e.g., tuition reimbursement from your employer).
• ExternalScholarships: CU Â鶹ӰԺ does not currently offer scholarships for this program. However, you can search for private scholarships and improve your chances of success with our tips to apply.
• Internal Scholarships: Beginning Fall 2026, the MS-DS program will award three one-time $5,000 scholarships to newly enrolled Residential MS-DS students. Admitted students may review eligibility criteria and apply .
• On Campus Employment: CU Â鶹ӰԺ hosts abundant roles across departments which are hourly and flexible. International students attending with an F-1 visa do not require authorization to work on-campus with a CU Â鶹ӰԺ role.

• Professional Opportunities: Students can earn academic credit for industry-aligned experiences—such as internships, applied projects, or research—allowing you to build real-world skills and strengthen career prospects while potentially aiding in financing your degree.

Note: Because the MS-DS is a professional program, on-campus students are not eligible for teaching or research assistantships, but are eligible for hourly work.Ìý
