COF Error: Resolve Your Birthdate Mismatch (Targeted Message)
We sent this email on the following dates to students who needÌýto correct a birthdate error in order toÌýreceiveÌýCOF funds for Fall 2026.

Dear [first],
Your College Opportunity Fund (COF) stipend can't be applied to your bill because the birthdate in your CU Â鶹ӰԺ record doesn't match the one in your COF application.
COF was created by the Colorado Legislature to pay a portion of total in-state tuition for eligible undergrads. There's no limit to the number of students who receive it, and you never have to pay it back.
To Correct Your Record
To resolve this error, follow our step-by-step instructions to update your record by 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4, 2026.
Once you receive an email confirming that your record was updated, follow our online instructions to authorize COF by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 11, 2026.
