Take Your Kids to Work Day 2026

On Thursday, April 23, CU Â鶹ӰԺ staff, research faculty, and their families will be invited to campus for Take Your Kids to Work Day, a Staff Council–hosted event celebrating learning, curiosity, and community.

The day will begin with a Kids Day Kickoff Party at the Rec Center, featuring games, activities, snacks, and special guests, including CU Police and their K‑9 teams. Families will also have the option to explore campus through interactive afternoon activities, such as educational sessions, a guided campus tree tour, and free admission to CU museums.

Take Your Kids to Work Day offers children a glimpse into what their caregivers do and how the university works, while creating meaningful connections between work, learning, and family. Staff Council looks forward to welcoming families for this annual campus tradition.

Staff Council Cookbook

Cookbook
Staff Council has compiled some of our favorite recipes into an online cookbook. We have the perfect Chili Colorado for cool weather, or how about a Traditional British Sticky Toffee Pudding? There are also vegetarian options like Green Lentils and Rice, and for the meat lovers, Baked Swiss Chicken. Why not cook something wonderful and new this week?
