- CU Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº has been selected as a member of the United States Space Command Academic Engagement Enterprise, a new national program designed to expand collaboration and academic exchanges between universities and Space Command.
- CU Athletics' diversity, equity and inclusion program has received an honorable mention from the NCAA and the Minority Opportunities Athletic Association for making a difference for staff, coaches and athletes.
- Congratulations to Kristi Wold-McCormick, campus registrar, who was recently elected president-elect to the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers. Wold-McCormick has been the registrar at CU Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº since 2014.
- CU Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº and Front Range Community College are among 104 recipients of Howard Hughes Medical Institute funding to boost inclusion in STEM fields.
- Rose Summers’ hard work has not gone unnoticed. The CU senior has received the highly sought-after Marshall Scholarship, affording her the opportunity to further her neuroscience research at the University of Cambridge.
- Christina Cain, Heather Cracraft, Jasimine Evans and Debbie Yeh are being recognized for their exceptional service and contributions to the CU Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº community.
- CU Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº is one of 394 colleges and universities recognized for its efforts to increase nonpartisan democratic engagement in the 2022 midterm elections.
- CU Science Discovery, a K–12 education outreach organization, recently received two statewide awards in recognition of its efforts and achievements in STEM and environmental education.
- The diversity of disciplines represented by these 17 faculty members highlights the range of excellence in research, scholarship and creative work taking place at CU Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº.
- Congratulations to Peyton Hall Magalhaes, cello, who won first prize in the Bruce Ekstrand Memorial Graduate Student Performance Competition. Soprano Anna McMahon was awarded second prize, and other finalists included Logan Banister, alto saxophone; Lauren Flaten, flute; and Rebecca Ortiz, trumpet.
