Academic Plan & Requirements

To earn the undergraduate degree in business administration, students must complete a minimum of 120 acceptable credit hours from the following categories:

  • Business core: 30 credit hours
  • Business area of emphasis: 18 credit hours
  • Engineering: 34 credit hours
  • General education: 35 credit hours
  • Electives: 3 credit hours

Students specialize in one of two areas of emphasis: 

  • Entrepreneurship: Develop the skills to create and lead new ventures and to build high-performing entrepreneurial teams.
  • Sustainability: Be prepared to provide practical solutions for the social and environmental complexities of modern business.
