A&S Structure

Great academics happen when great systems are established. That’s the case with the College of Arts and Sciences. Consistency breeds connections between technology, academia, curriculum and faculty to pull opportunities out of invisibility.Ìý

Adhering to such unwavering dedication, futures open up endless exploration.

It starts with how A&S is built.

A&S Divisions

A&S is composed of the three divisions below. Working in partnership with A&S' executive dean, the deans of division establish priorities and initiatives to catalyze faculty, student, staff and alumni ANDing.

The arts and humanities explore how people create, express and interpret meaning.

Natural science encompasses a wide range of topics, from quarks and electrons, cells and neurons, to water, earth and space.

The social sciences explore how people interact, govern, grow, communicate and make meaning.

"I have been in strategy consulting my entire career, and I have consistently discovered and rediscovered how valuable ANDing can be in terms of being more creative, more provocative, being able to engender more trust by seeing multiple points of view and on and on."
