Public Talks For Public Good
Join us for an exciting series about the diverse issues the community cares about and how BioFrontiers explores them to improve lives.

Doors open at 5:45 pm, talks begin at 6:00 pm. A social reception will follow at 7:00 pm.听Registration is free but required. An overflow room is available if registration fills.

Attendees can park in lot 543 or 544 with a听parking voucher for $5 (Please be mindful of which sections of the lot are signed as 543 and which are actually 537).
To purchase a voucher, follow the instructions by clicking the "+" below.

鈥 What time are the talks?
听 听Doors open at 5:45 pm, talks begin at 6:00. There is a reception from 7-8 pm.
鈥 Where are the talks?
听 听All talks are in the Butcher Auditorium (room A115, next to the main floor coffee shop) at the Jennie Smoly Caruthers Biotechnology Building on CU鈥檚 East Campus. The address is听 3415 Colorado Ave. Signs inside the building will direct you to the auditorium.
鈥 How much does this cost?
听 听Nothing! It鈥檚 free! You must register in advance, though (see link above).
鈥 Do you have to be a science expert to understand these talks?
听 听No! These talks are specifically designed to reach a broad background.
鈥 Will there be a question-and-answer period?
听 听Yes! The last 15鈥 of the talks are reserved for audience questions.
鈥 Do I have to be part of CU?
听 听No! We encourage the public to attend.
鈥 What if I couldn't get tickets? Can I still attend?
听 听There will be an overflow room available for those who were unable to get tickets. You will not be able to ask questions in that room, but will be able to watch the talk live and are welcome to attend the reception.
鈥 What is the reception afterwards?
听 听This is a time for the audience to mingle with each other and with our scientists. We will provide snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.
鈥 Can children attend?
听 Children may attend, although young children may not enjoy the talks as much as older teens and adults. CU does offer exciting scientific programming directed towards younger听children that we encourage you to consider.
