Meet a few of our Scholars!
Sydney Ament is studying Finance and Accounting This past semester, she studied abroad in Sevilla, Spain and completed her Spanish minor. She loves to travel and to be immersed in new cultures, trying new things. She plans to intern in Audit Accounting for Deloitte upon graduation and then pursue her CPA license. Beyond that, it is Sydney’s dream to one day own and run a coffeehouse business.Ìý
Julia Bethune is studying Marketing with a minor in Media Studies. Through marketing internships and international study experiences in Australia and Italy, she has developed a strong appreciation for communication, creativity, and global perspectives. Outside of academics, Julia enjoys skiing, playing guitar, and spending time outdoors with friends, family, and her dogs.
Ava Crowley is from Eagle, CO and is a Leeds Honors student as well. Ava is pursuing an emphasis in Finance and Accounting. She is an active member of the Leeds Investment and Trading Group and Gamma Phi Beta sorority. Additionally, Ava is a Board Member and active volunteer at Mountain Valley Horse Rescue located in Eagle County. Off campus, Ava enjoys skiing all winter, hammocking outside in the summer, enjoying a good book, and volunteering. In the spring of 2026, Ava completed a study abroad program in Rome Italy and enjoyed the opportunity to learn from various cultures. This year, Ava is looking forward to a successful and impactful senior year before she sets off to pursue a CPA in the coming years.Ìý
Cooper Cummings is pursuing a double emphasis in Business Analytics & Information Management. Originally from Austin, Texas, he is a corporate development intern at Saronic and plans to graduate in May 2027. Outside the classroom, Cooper is an avid runner, cyclist, hiker, and snowboarder, and is an active member of CU's Freeride Club. During his time in the Leeds Scholars Program, he led a campus-wide 5K that drew nearly 300 participants and raised funds for breast cancer research. He also served as the Philanthropy Chair for Theta Xi fraternity, organizing events that contributed both donations and service hours to charitable causes.
Ginger Cusimano is from Paso Robles, California, studying Finance and Real Estate. After recently completing a semester studying abroad in Italy, she is returning to CU for her final semester before graduating in Fall 2026. Ginger is looking forward to taking what she’s learned at Leeds into the workforce after she graduates, but for now, she is just looking forward to a great final semester and spending time enjoying everything Colorado has to offer.
Carter Dernulc is majoring in Finance and Accounting with a certificate in Personal Financial Planning. While he is originally from Chicago, he chose to come to Colorado to take advantage of the outdoors. Carter is involved in Greek life and various clubs within Leeds. In his free time, he enjoys being around friends, backpacking, and going to concerts.
Lauren Elbert is pursuing a dual emphasis in Business Analytics and Marketing, as well as a minor in Creative Technology Design and a certificate in UX/UI Design. Outside of the Leeds Scholars, Lauren is an active member of the Golden Buffaloes Marching Band and Business and Engineering Women in Technology. She also works as a Community Assistant in the Cheyenne Arapahoe Residence Hall and a Learning Assistant for ATLS 2200 Web. Come visit her at Drogo's Coffee Bar in the Catholic center, one of her favorite jobs and communities on campus! Upon graduation, Lauren hopes to continue her freelance marketing work and explore more opportunities. SKO BUFFS!
Lauren Everett is from The Woodlands, TX studying marketing, sustainable business, & environmental studies with a certificate in social responsibility & ethics. On campus, Lauren is a peer mentor for first-year students in the Service & Social Action LLC as a part of SLICE, as well as the director of late-night events at Program Council. Outside of class, Lauren is a marketing intern at Z2 Entertainment and is a frequent concertgoer.
Molly Finnegan is studying Marketing with a certificate in International Business. Alongside LSP, Molly helps run the Scholars Instagram, is a member of the CU American Marketing Association, and a member of Pi Beta Phi. Molly currently resides in the northern suburbs of Chicago. Outside of school, she also enjoys doing anything active and hanging out with friends!
Logan Gero is studying Finance and Business Analytics with a Global Business and Entrepreneurship certificate. This past summer Logan was a finance intern at Danone, one of the largest international CPG companies. Aside from class he is involved in many clubs including Leeds Student Government, Alpha Kappa Psi, Scholars of Finance, Peer to Peer Mentoring, CU College Young Life, and he just completed the Newton Fellowship Program (where he was named one of the Student Leaders of the Year for CU)! Outside of academics, Logan loves to travel (including having been to all 50 states and over 50 countries), skiing, hiking, lifting, and pretty much anything outdoors. In addition, Logan is working on getting his personal training certificate to further enhance his pursuit of health and wellness. Upon graduation, Logan hopes to pursue a career in finance.Ìý
Coco Goldman is pursuing an emphasis in Finance and Business Analytics with a certificate in Global Business. On campus, she is involved with Peer-to-Peer mentoring, CU Student Government (CUSG), and works at the Center of Ethics and Social Responsibility (CESR). In her free time, she loves to ski, hang out with friends, and travel!
Juliet Hernandez Alcaraz is a first-generation student from Centennial, Colorado, pursuing an emphasis in Finance and a Global Business Certificate. Outside of Leeds Scholars, she is an active member of Alpha Kappa Psi, a Professional Business Fraternity, where she has served in leadership roles including Director of Events. Juliet studied abroad in Madrid, Spain, during the spring of 2026, an experience that expanded her global perspective and deepened her appreciation for international business and culture. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, watching films, reading, creating content, and spending time with friends and family.
Jaikrit Johar was born and raised in Colorado and completed his B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance at the Leeds School of Business, graduating in just 3 years. He is now pursuing an M.S. in Business Analytics with an emphasis in Decision Science through Leeds' accelerated 3+1 program. At CU, Jaikrit is an analyst for Global Platinum Securities, a Senior Analyst with Leeds Consulting Group, and a member of the Leeds Investment & Trading Group and Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity. He is also a Boettcher Scholar and a member of the Leeds Scholars Program. His favorite CU memory is studying abroad at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where he traveled to 19 countries in Europe. Outside of academics, Jaikrit enjoys traveling, playing chess and poker, reading, working out, and watching Nuggets basketball.
Leah Kugel is pursuing dual emphases in Finance and Strategy & Entrepreneurship, along with a Global Business Certificate. She has been involved in Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº Venture Club, Scholars of Finance, and CU Â鶹ӰԺ’s Venture Capital Investment Competition team. Leah has gained international experience through the Scholars FGX program in Tokyo, a Maymester in Berlin, and most recently a semester studying abroad in Madrid, Spain. Outside of academics, Leah is a member of Delta Gamma, enjoys cooking, attending concerts, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Kate Jordan Little is studying Entrepreneurship and Marketing, along with a Leadership minor through the President’s Leadership Class. A dedicated student leader, Kate has been involved with the Student Homecoming Coalition for three years and currently serves as Assistant Chair of Events for the 2026 Coalition. Within Chi Omega, she served as the chapter’s 2025 New Member Educator and 2024 Foundation Ambassador. She also works as a Student Assistant for the CU Athletics Sports Information Department. In Spring 2026, Kate studied abroad in Florence, Italy, and during Summer 2026, she participated in the CU Public Interest Internship Experience (PIEE), gaining hands-on experience in public service and community engagement. Outside of campus involvement, Kate enjoys swimming, diving, paddleboarding, skiing, and attending concerts. She is passionate about sustainability, real estate, law, and public service.
Peyton MacKenzie is from Snoqualmie, Washington, and is pursuing degrees in accounting and finance with plans to earn her CPA in 2027. In summer 2026, she served as a State and Local Tax Intern at KPMG. She also works as a Student Intern in the Office of Advancement, where she supports the Dean of the Leeds School of Business in alumni engagement efforts. During spring 2026, Peyton studied abroad in Galway, Ireland. On campus, she is an active member of Alpha Kappa Psi, where she discovered her passion for service and local community engagement during her role as Brotherhood Engagement Chair. In her free time, Peyton enjoys skiing, hiking, stargazing, playing volleyball, learning Irish Gaelic, and caring for her plants.Ìý
Ava McCavit is originally from Dallas, Texas. She is studying Business Analytics and Marketing with a minor in Spanish and a Global Business Certificate. Outside of her involvement in the Scholars Program, she is a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, Peer Mentoring Program, and she has an on-campus job at the Career Services Office. Ava studied abroad in Madrid, Spain during the spring of 2026. She loves to ski, hike, do puzzles, hammock, and read in her free time.Ìý
Maddie Meyers is studying Operations Management and Marketing with a Spanish minor! As a Colorado native, she loves anything outdoors- hiking, rock climbing, running, and skiing are some of her favorites. The best part of LSP has been FGX as both a student and then a TA and traveling the world with her best friends. She can't wait for what this final year will bring and getting to have her brother join her in Scholars!Ìý
Sayed Ali Mosawi was born and raised in Kabul, Afghanistan, and resettled in the United States in 2021. He is pursuing a degree at the Â鶹ӰԺ’s Leeds School of Business with dual emphases in Finance and Management. Alongside LSP, he is involved in the Diverse Scholars Program, Investment Banking Club, and Wall Street Direct Program. Sayed also serves on Phi Kappa Tau’s National Undergraduate Advisory Board, where he supports the national finance committee on undergraduate initiatives and organizational development. Outside of academics, he enjoys weightlifting, reading, and building meaningful relationships with people from different backgrounds.
Delaney Mosteller is pursuing an emphasis in Finance with a certificate in Social Responsibility and Ethics. In Leeds, she is involved in Global Platinum Securities, Buffs on Wall Street, and Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity. Outside of Leeds, Delaney is involved in Girls Who Invest and her sorority, Chi Omega. She enjoys spending time outdoors with friends and family.
Logan Nicoll is pursuing a dual emphasis in Finance and Accounting, as well as completed the Business of Sports Program. He is a part of many organizations, including the club soccer team, the Diverse Scholars Program, and the Leeds Consulting Group. Outside of school, Logan loves playing soccer, surfing, and snowboarding.
Ricardo Orozco grew up in California and has called Colorado home for the past nine years. He is currently pursuing a degree in Finance and Accounting, intending to build a career in private banking. On campus, Ricardo is involved in Leeds Student Government and Alpha Kappa Psi and is the co-founder of the ALPFA (Association of Latino Professionals for America) chapter at the Leeds School of Business. Outside of academics, Ricardo enjoys playing soccer, golfing, and driving as he has developed an interest in cars.
Maximiliano Pliego Mendiola is an honors student from Mexico City, Mexico, pursuing a dual emphasis in Finance and Accounting. Alongside LSP, he is an active member of Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, part of the Executive Board of Investment Banking Club, and Portfolio Manager of Leeds Investment and Trading Group. He assists fellow students at Leeds as a Career Peer. He is also involved in Greek life as a member of Phi Kappa Tau. Outside of school, Max enjoys weightlifting, skiing, traveling, reading, trying out new foods, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
Corbin Salinas is from Dallas, Texas, pursuing a double major in Marketing and Finance. She is a proud member of Chi Omega and an active member of the CU AI Club. Outside of school, Corbin loves taking advantage of her surroundings by hiking, skiing, and going on walks with friends. She also enjoys all forms of art, especially painting and photography. After graduation, she plans to pursue a creative career in marketing.
Sam Siegal is pursuing an emphasis in finance and a certificate in social responsibility. Having grown up in Centennial, his formative years were characterized by extensive outdoor pursuits—including summiting fourteeners, snowboarding couloirs, and international backpacking trips—which instilled in him a deep understanding of the natural world's importance. Sam maintains active involvement on campus as a member of the Leeds Scholars Program, an executive officer of the Sustainable Business Club, and an Intramural Supervisor at The Rec Center. In addition to his interests in sustainability and hiking, Sam is committed to global citizenship and broadening his perspective through unique experiences, exemplified by his three-month backpacking journey through Southeast Asia and Europe last summer. He also enjoys live music and can often be found attending EDM concerts at Red Rocks on weekends.
Finn Stevens is studying marketing with a minor in Creative Technology and Design and wants to take his degree to work within the music industry as an A&R representative at a music label. Outside of his major, Finn is currently on the leadership team of Program Council as the Marketing Director and is also a part of the Leeds Student Government as a representative. Finn loves music, being outside, hanging out with friends, and things that are cool.
Bree Tran is studying Finance and Accounting. She was born and raised in Colorado Springs and is heavily involved in CU Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº's Cultural Events Board and Artemis Consulting. In her free time, she loves to play volleyball, write, and go to Dutch Bros almost every single day.
Abad Velazco is from Thornton, Colorado, and is pursuing a dual emphasis in Finance and Accounting at the Leeds School of Business. On campus, he is involved with the Leeds Investment and Trading Group, the Diverse Scholars Program, the Honors Program, and is a Daniels Fund Scholar, while also working as an Economic Research Assistant for the Business Research Division. Outside of academics, Abad enjoys playing soccer, watching MMA, and being around friends and family.
Giselle Wipper is from Golden, Colorado, studying Finance and Business Analytics with certificates in Global Business and Operations & Information Management. Outside of Leeds Scholars, she has held leadership positions in organizations including Leeds Consulting Group and Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity. Her favorite CU experiences have been participating in global business programs in Japan, India, and South Africa, where she worked alongside students and organizations from around the world. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, skiing, photography, and traveling. Her passion for leadership, service, and lifelong learning drives her to pursue opportunities that broaden her perspective, create meaningful impact, and help others succeed.
Steel Wylie is studying Finance and Management Information Systems. He has a strong interest in artificial intelligence and how it's reshaping financial markets. Over the past year he turned that interest into a business, co-founding BlueSteel, an AI consulting and automation firm that builds custom AI workflows for companies and trains their teams to use them. He is a co-founder of the CU AI Club and the founder and president of the Next-Gen AI Finance Club, where he connects students with practical applications of AI in finance. He's also a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. One of his favorite memories is buying an authentic samurai sword on a trip to Japan, and he has since traveled across Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa. Outside of academics, Steel enjoys playing golf and basketball, hiking, and fishing.
Arjun Singh Bumrah is from Commerce City, Colorado, and is studying Finance & Accounting. Outside of Scholars, Arjun is involved in the Leeds Honors Program, Leeds Investment & Trading Group, and Scholars of Finance. In his free time, Arjun enjoys solving Rubik's cubes, and writing articles on financial markets, macroeconomic events, and their impact on consumers.Ìý
Rebecca Choe is a Colorado native studying Finance at the Leeds School of Business. At CU, she is involved in Leeds Consulting Group. In her free time, she enjoys baking, singing, and spending time with friends and family.
Margaux Dempsey is studying Finance and Marketing with a minor in sports media. Originally from Lakewood, Colorado, Margaux is a Boettcher Scholar and a member of both the Leeds Scholars and Leeds Honors Programs. On campus, she is active in Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity and her sorority, Chi Omega. Margaux is passionate about the intersection of business and sports and aspires to build a career in the professional athletics industry. In her free time, she enjoys college football, golf, and scuba diving.
Olivia Doel is double majoring in Finance and Business Analytics, originally from West Linn, Oregon. Outside of Scholars, she's an honors student, works at the Leeds welcome desk, and is helping co-found STRAND Collective's CU Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº chapter. She's also active in Delta Gamma, and when not on campus loves running, hiking, or skiing pretty much anywhere with a good view.
Alondra Enriquez is from Thornton, Colorado, pursuing an emphasis in Finance at the Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº. Outside of the Leeds Scholars Program, she is involved in ALPFA, the Leeds Investment and Trading Group, and Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity. Her favorite Scholars’ memories are her FGX and Extension experiences in Southeast Asia, which fueled her passion for travel and exploring new cultures. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in private banking, wealth management, or luxury brand finance. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, exploring fashion and jewelry, and being with family and friends.
Joseph Galbo is pursuing a major in both Finance and Accounting with a minor in Dance. While staying busy in school, he is a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity and passionate about his love for Mixed Martial Arts. He is excited to start the second half of college and ready for the adventures that come with it. He is most excited to live next to the flatirons again!
Jake Hakim is from Los Gatos, California studying Supply Chain Management and Business Analytics. He is pursuing a minor in International Affairs and a certificate in Global Business. Jake is an active member of the Leeds Scholars Program, Honors Program, and Mentoring Program. Outside of academics, he enjoys spending time at the gym, golfing, fly fishing, learning new languages, and traveling.
Charlotte Harter is originally from Bay Village, Ohio. She is emphasizing in finance on the personal financial planning track and is a member of the Leeds Honors Program as well. Outside of the Scholars Program, Charlotte is a member of Delta Gamma, a Peer2Peer mentor and works at the Leeds front desk. Charlotte loves to be outside hiking, running, swimming, skiing, and exploring Colorado. Her favorite Scholars' memories so far are her freshman FGX to Tokyo and being a TA for FGX Indonesia!
Spencer Hays is originally from Gunnison, Colorado and studies Finance with the Quantitative Finance Certificate. He is also a member of Presidents Leadership Class and Leeds Consulting Group. He enjoys running, reading, and thinking deeply about movies with Aneesh Indukuri. This year, Spencer is studying abroad the entire academic year at Lancaster University in Lancaster, UK!
Sophie Hoffmann is studying Business Analytics with a minor in Creative Technology and Design. She is originally from New York but came to Colorado to be surrounded by nature. At CU she is involved in Student Government and the Leeds Consulting Group. Outside of school she loves spending time outdoors, swing dancing, and playing board games with friends and family.Ìý
Aneesh Indukuri, from Aurora Colorado, graduated from Cherokee Trail High school, and is now studying Finance and Marketing with a minor in Philosophy, pursuing a Global Business Certificate. He loves to travel the world, trek/hike, and spend time with friends.
Jane Johnson is from Denver, studying Real Estate and Strategy & Entrepreneurship with a Global Business Certificate. Outside of class, she sings and plays guitar in Cascade, a Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº-based band she started with friends and now performs at venues and events throughout Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº. She also serves as the Director of Marketing for the Sustainable Business Club and works in student housing, doing leasing and marketing. Some of her favorite CU memories include traveling through Japan and Thailand with friends from the Scholars Program and building friendships with SHOWA students during her FGX trip to Tokyo. In her free time, she enjoys water skiing, skiing, hiking, and exploring Colorado.
Sakari Mackey is studying finance and supply chain management with a minor in Spanish. She is involved in Leeds Consulting Group, Leeds Student Government, Black Student Alliance, and Alpha Kappa Psi professional co-ed fraternity. This fall, she is excited to serve as the Vice President of Organizations for Leeds Student Government and the Vice President for Black Student Alliance. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on long walks, playing sports, and roller skating.Ìý
Emily Madden is pursuing a Finance major with a certificate in Quantitative Finance. She's from Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº, Colorado and went to Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº High. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, mountain biking, dancing, and spending time with her family.
Tayla Martin is a Colorado native pursuing an emphasis in Accounting and Entrepreneurship. Within Leeds, she is a brother of Delta Sigma Pi. Around campus, she is also an active member of her sorority, Chi Omega. In her free time, you can find her skiing, at a concert, training for an endurance race, or with her friends!
Zachary Mauldin is from Orange County, California. He is a member of the Leeds Scholars Program and the 2026 Business of Sports cohort, studying accounting and supply chain management. As a third-generation Buffalo, he has enjoyed building on his family’s connection to CU Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº while creating his own experiences on campus. Some of his favorite memories include traveling to Tokyo through the First-Year Global Experience and attending Camp Timberline. Outside of academics, Zachary enjoys playing intramural basketball, golfing, and making frequent trips to Raising Cane’s.
Nikita Medvedev is pursuing an emphasis in Finance, with minors in Applied Mathematics and Data Science. Outside of school, Nikita loves to spend time playing tennis, running, biking, or swimming.Ìý
Sam Morgan is studying Finance with minors in Mathematics and Economics and a certificate in Quantitative Finance. Outside the classroom, he enjoys skiing and chess. His favorite CU memory is his first week on campus — meeting everyone and experiencing life on his own for the first time.
Cade Nierling is from Centennial, CO, and a 2024 graduate of Arapahoe High School pursuing Finance and a Global Business Certificate at CU Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº. He is involved in Leeds Consulting Group, Dean’s Leadership Fellows, and the Badami Office of Experiential Learning, while also working as a Pick A Peer tutor and operations lead, RA, and at the Rec. Cade will intern with Bain & Company in Summer 2027. His favorite CU experience was FGX, which allowed him to spend six weeks traveling throughout Asia. Outside of school, he enjoys snowboarding, fitness, traveling, meditation, and EDM concerts.
Jack Ogren is studying Finance and Accounting. He grew up in Denver, Colorado, and went to Cherry Creek High School. He loves to spend time outside, play sports, and hang out with friends.
Parker Ortanes is an incoming Junior studying Finance and Accounting. He's involved in LSG, LCG, and the Investment Banking Club. He loves movies, and his favorite CU memory was the Baylor game.
Sancia Perakatt is studying Finance with a track in personal financial planning, as well as part of the Leeds Scholars Program. She has also been involved in Leeds Student Government as well as Alpha Kappa Psi along with different leadership positions. She is planning to go abroad in Spring 2027. Some of my interests include traveling, music, fashion, and spending time with friends and family! Her favorite memory of CU is going to Tokyo, Japan alongside her Scholar’s cohort and the students from the Showa Women's University as a freshman.Ìý
Grace Roscoe is studying Business Analytics and Supply Chain Management with a minor in Sports Media and certificates in Business of Sport, Business Leadership, and Critical Sport Studies. Outside of the Leeds Scholars Program, she is a member of Alpha Kappa Psi, CU’s professional business fraternity, where she serves as the President, works as a Welcome Desk Associate for the Leeds School of Business, serves as a Peer2Peer mentor, and enjoys playing intramural sports. Caroline Sullivan is from Fort Collins, studying Finance with certificates in Personal Financial Planning and Entrepreneurial Studies. Outside of the Leeds Scholars Program, Caroline is a member of Leeds Consulting Group, Kappa Alpha Theta, and works at the Leeds front desk. Outside of school, Caroline loves camping, hiking, running, and baking!
Cassidy Thompson is majoring in Business Analytics with a minor in Spanish and certificates in Global Business and Social Responsibility & Ethics. Cassidy is a member of the Leeds Honors Program and serves as Vice President of Finance for Delta Sigma Pi and Vice President of the Sustainable Business Club, while also being involved in Kappa Alpha Theta. Outside of campus, Cassidy enjoys hiking, snowboarding, live music, watching the sunrise, and international travel, and has recently spent time backpacking and volunteering throughout South America.
Reese Trobaugh is a Finance major pursuing the Personal Financial Planning Track at the Leeds School of Business. On campus, she is involved in Women in Business, Peer to Peer Mentors, Delta Gamma, and serves as a Leeds Welcome Desk Associate. One of her favorite CU memories was traveling to Tokyo through the FGX International Program with fellow Leeds Scholars, where she collaborated with students from a Japanese women's university to develop innovative business solutions and gained valuable international business experience. Outside of academics, Reese enjoys skiing, reading, going on long walks, and spending time with friends and family. She is passionate about helping others, building meaningful connections, and pursuing leadership opportunities that create a positive impact.
Laird Whitelaw is from Denver, Colorado and is studying Finance and Accounting. On campus, he is involved in Pi Kappa Phi fraternity, Leeds Investment and Trading Group, and intramural basketball. In Fall 2026, he will also be starting his own law-focused student organization to help connect students interested in legal careers. One of Laird’s favorite CU memories was going on the First-Year Global Experience trip to Tokyo with Leeds Scholars. Outside of school, he enjoys skiing, fishing, and spending time outdoors.
Gavin Alexander is from Los Angeles, California, and is majoring in Finance. Outside of academics, Gavin likes to hang out with friends, ski, and travel. Gavin previously interned at Clay Lacy Aviation, an aviation company in Los Angeles, California. Gavin loves exploring new cities and meeting new people.
Asher Baruch is from Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº, Colorado. He is majoring in Finance and Real Estate. Within Leeds, he is involved in the Leeds Scholars Program, Peer to Peer Mentoring Program, and Leeds Ambassadors. Outside of Leeds he is involved in CU AI Club, Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº Freeride, and a social fraternity. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, playing golf, skiing, and spending time with friends and family.
Celine Bono is studying Management at Leeds School of Business. She is an active member of Delta Sigma Pi and Students Demand Action, and she serves as a Human Resources Student Assistant for the Mechanical Engineering department. Amelia Bowser is from Englewood, Colorado. She is majoring in Leadership Management with a minor in Political Science on the pre-law track. Caroline Bruno is from Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº, Colorado and graduated from Fairview High School. Caroline is studying finance with a minor in Spanish. Outside of LSP she is a member of Delta Gamma, a Peer2Peer mentor, and involved in CU club swimming. Caroline works in the childcare center at the Lifetime Health Club and has taught swimming lessons to all ages. In her free time, she enjoys being outside, skiing, running and being with friends!
Luca Caniato is pursuing a double area of emphasis in Strategy & Entrepreneurship and Management Information Systems, with a minor in Philosophy. He's an avid outdoorsman who has worked as a fly-fishing guide and loves skiing and hiking. Outside the classroom, Luca loves working at the intersection of AI and business, and he is always thinking about entrepreneurial ventures. He's also a photographer who is happiest capturing beautiful places and the people in them while fishing, exploring, or traveling. When he's not doing any of that, you'll probably find him on the water or hanging out with friends.
Sonia Carnes is from Winchester, Massachusetts, studying Finance and Management Information Systems, with a minor in Political Science. At CU, Sonia manages social media for the Leeds Scholars Program, is a Peer2Peer Mentor, is in Leeds Honors, and works as a Data Analysis Intern for the CU's men’s hockey team. In her free time, Sonia loves swimming in the ocean, watching sports, traveling, and meeting new people.Ìý
Audrey Cross is from St. Louis, Missouri, and graduated from Webster Groves High School in 2025. At CU she is studying Marketing and is a proud member of the Leeds Scholars Program. She is currently an active member of Pi Beta Phi and enjoys playing intramural sports. Outside of school, Audrey loves to stay active, hang out with friends and family, travel, and explore new places! One of her favorite CU memories was traveling Southeast Asia with all the scholars for her FGX.
Kyle Crump is a graduate of Wissahickon High School in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. He plans to pursue an emphasis in Finance on the Personal Financial Planning Track, with a minor in Communications. He is the starting goalie for the Men's Club Lacrosse Team, a mentor in the Leeds Peer2Peer mentoring program, and involved in the Leeds Honors Program. He also loves to golf, ski, and find new and exciting hikes.Ìý
Ashlyn DiSette is a graduate of Thunder Ridge High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. She is currently pursuing a degree in Leadership Management with a Global Business Certificate. Ashlyn is a brother of the business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi and a member of the Sustainable Business Club. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, painting, and attending concerts. Her favorite memory so far has been participating in FGX Indonesia, where she had the opportunity to go on a boat and experience the country's culture firsthand.
Ryan Giles graduated from Katy Jordan high school in Katy, TX. During his time in high school, he was involved in sports like football, soccer, and track and was also an active member in clubs like FBLA and NHS. Along with this he was very active in his community and set the record for most hours ever volunteered over his time in high school for his local charity league YMSL. Outside of school Ryan loves to do things like watch sports, hike, go to concerts, travel, and hang out with his friends. Overall, he is excited to learn at CU and keep taking advantage of the amazing opportunities the Leeds Scholars Program provides.

Maizy Hoffman is from Golden, Colorado and a Lakewood High School IB graduate. She's majoring in Management & Entrepreneurship with a minor in theater through the BFA Acting program. Maizy's involved in the club volleyball team, CU Presents theater productions, Alpha Chi Omega Sorority, and the Undergraduate Enrichment Programs through the Boettcher Foundation. Maizy is passionate about performance of all types, sustainable fashion, student leadership, and protecting the environment.Ìý
Eva Kiebler is pursuing degrees in Business Management and Political Science. Outside of the Leeds Scholars Program, she is actively involved Delta Gamma, the Presidents Leadership Class, and IGNITE at CU Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº. Eva is passionate about leadership development, entrepreneurship, civic engagement, and creating meaningful community impact through business and service. During high school, she co-founded the Charger Pride Box initiative, a student-led school store project created to help fund student travel and opportunities for future business club members. Outside of academics and leadership, Eva enjoys exploring Colorado, traveling, attending concerts, spending time outdoors, and staying active.
Spencer Kimball is an Honors student at the Leeds School of Business and a graduate of Cherry Creek High School. He is studying finance and accounting with a strong interest in entrepreneurship, which he hopes to minor in while he pursues a global business certificate. At Leeds, he is involved in Tamid Consulting and the fashion case club which have helped him develop leadership, consulting, and professional skills. Outside of the classroom he is in a fraternity, loves to work out and meet new people whenever he can.Ìý
Margeaux Lindley graduated from Kent Denver High School and is currently pursuing an emphasis in Marketing at CU Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº. Outside of the Scholars Program, she is involved in Peer2Peer mentoring, Greek life, the Sustainable Business Club, and the club field hockey team. In her free time, Margeaux enjoys hiking, playing soccer, baking, and spending time with friends and family. Brooklynne Nock is studying Marketing and Leadership Management. Outside of the Leeds Scholars Program, she is involved in the Chi Omega Zeta chapter where she has found lifelong relationships and continues to build her skill set. Sammy Olsen is a Finance major at the Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº and an active member of the Greek community. She is passionate about business, personal growth, and building meaningful connections both inside and outside the classroom. Outside of academics, Sammy enjoys exploring Colorado, hiking, skiing, and spending time in the mountains. She also loves traveling, experiencing new cultures, and embracing new adventures. Dayne Riddle graduated from Eaton High School in Eaton, Colorado. He is majoring in Strategy + Entrepreneurship and Operations Management. At CU, Dayne is involved in Alpha Kappa Psi, a co-ed professional business fraternity. He currently works for City of Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº in their Parks and Recreation department, helping oversee their Sports programs. He would like to pair his current experience with past high school experiences in FBLA and DECA in Sports and Entertainment Management Events to break into the sports industry while pursuing the Business of Sports certificate. McKenna Semanik is a graduate of Monarch High School in Louisville, Colorado. Passionate about business and real estate, McKenna gained experience through a real estate internship and leadership opportunities within her school and community. John Sheehan is a Boettcher, Leeds, and Presidents Leadership Class Scholar double majoring in Business and Economics, with a double minor in Chinese and Leadership. He is on the executive board of TEDxCU, a senior analyst in Leeds Consulting Group, and a competitor for the CU Speech and Debate team. John loves to play board games, spend time outside with friends, travel, watch movies, watch and play sports, and meet new people.
Eva Simpson is originally from Glenwood Springs, Colorado and is studying Marketing and Management. Outside of the Leeds Scholars program, she is a member of BEWiT, Alpha Phi, minoring in Political Science, A Peer2Peer mentor and a member of the Wellness Society and Ignite.
Colin Smith is majoring in business with plans to study finance and real estate. He is also involved in the Leeds Consulting Group at CU where he will help to consult businesses in engagements. Additionally, he loves spending time outside in Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº and lifting.
Keegan Smith is from Knoxville, Tennessee, majoring in Supply Chain Management and Management Leadership, while also minoring in Spanish. He competes as a Division I NCAA athlete for the CU’s cross country and track teams. Keegan is interested in pursuing a career in aviation management and logistics. His favorite memory from freshman year was finishing 2nd overall as a team in the BCOR 1030 case competition in the fall of 2025. He looks forward to the experiences and opportunities still to come at CU.
Sanaa Sow is studying Finance and Business Analytics. Other than her involvement in the Leeds Scholars Program, she is also in the Leeds Honors Program, Business and Engineering Women in Technology (BEWiT), Leeds Student Government, and CU Student Government. Evan Thacker is from San Mateo, California, planning to dual emphasize in Finance and Real Estate with a minor in Portuguese. Over the summer, he worked as a commercial real estate intern at Coldwell Banker Commercial and had the unique opportunity to work as a member of Levi’s Stadium’s VIP Event Hospitality Team for the FIFA World Cup. He finished his summer with a two-week solo trip to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he immersed himself in the culture and practiced his Portuguese with locals. On campus, Evan looks forward to staying involved in student organizations, playing intramural soccer, and continuing his passion for the outdoors through hiking and snowboarding.Ìý
Jake Torrie is from Seattle, Washington, and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 2025. He is majoring in Strategy and Entrepreneurship. Lexi Weber is originally from Denver, CO. At Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº, she plans to pursue a dual major in Marketing and Management with a Music minor. Outside of the classroom, she is an active member in Pi Beta Phi and the CU Freeride club. She has a love for exploring, traveling, meeting new people, finding new music, and spending time outdoors. Kate Alaniz graduated from Monarch High School in Louisville, Colorado. In high school, she served as Vice President of Community Service and Fundraising, helping raise money for her school's DECA chapter. Walker Armstrong graduated from Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins, Colorado. During high school, he worked at a local optical chain as a Marketing Project Lead, as well as at an aquarium and water garden store as an Aquarium & Pond Specialist. He was involved with Boy Scouts, earning the rank of Eagle Scout, and participated in several clubs including The Looking Glass literary magazine, Spanish Club, and more. He loves playing the piano and singing, writing poetry, and playing tennis!
Corrin Baker graduated from Mountain Vista High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado and is majoring in finance. He plans to earn the quantitative finance certificate and will be a part of the Presidents Leadership Class at Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº. In high school, he was a member of the varsity tennis team and a vice president of his school's FBLA chapter, and loves to hike, ski, and read in his off time.
Drae Balke plans to double major in Finance and Accounting. Drae graduated from Thompson Valley High School in Loveland, Colorado, where he competed in DECA and FBLA and was a four-year varsity athlete in both baseball and tennis. He hopes to build a career in investment banking and is excited to grow as a leader through the Leeds Scholars Program. Outside of academics, Drae enjoys hiking, skiing, and spending time outdoors. Cooper Barr is a graduate of Northfield High School in Denver, Colorado. During his high school career, he was involved in DECA, where he competed at the State level, played varsity soccer, helping his team make it to both the semifinals and quarterfinals, and served as the Secretary of the National Honors Society. Apart from academics, he enjoys a variety of activities, including soccer, music, outdoors, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Charlie Dunham is a graduate of Kettle Moraine High School in Wales, Wisconsin. Charlie was Senior Class President and the Leader of the Blood Cancer United of Southeast Wisconsin's leading fundraising team in 2025. Bryn Hodges is a graduate of South High School in Denver, Colorado. During high school, she competed in varsity tennis and cross country and served as captain of the tennis team. She also founded and served as president of her school's tennis club and was co-president of the Students Demand Action club. Outside of school, Bryn loves hiking 14ers, skiing, camping, and participating in the annual RAGBRAI bike ride across Iowa. Samuel Iannone is from Arvada, CO and graduated from Ralston Valley High School. Sam is majoring in Integrated Business and Engineering as a Leeds Scholar. During high school, he worked alongside career engineers, flight surgeons, and astronauts to develop real biomedical prototypes for NASA moon-to-mars spaceflight that were sent to and tested at Johnson Space Center. As a result, he co-founded Iannone-Myers, the engineering company behind these devices. He is also the founder of AvAlert, an avalanche safety technology device in the patenting process. Outside of academics and ventures, Sam enjoys tennis, basketball, skiing, and going to concerts with his friends. He is looking forward to becoming a part of the LSP community and his life as a Buff!
Campbell Jones is a graduate of Naperville Central High School in Naperville, Illinois. During high school, she served as President of the Veterans Club, coached for Special Olympics, and represented her school as a student ambassador. Outside the classroom, Campbell enjoys reading, baking, working out, and exploring new places. Kathleen Keesey is a graduate of Rock Canyon High School in Highlands Ranch, CO. During high school, she served as the president of her school’s Speech & Debate team and French National Honor Society chapter, as well as a district officer for FBLA. Passionate about writing, Kathleen is most proud of having published an opinion piece in the Future View Column of the Wall Street Journal. During high school, she founded a program aimed at introducing more girls to mountain biking and creating opportunities for young women in the sport. Elizabeth Marsella graduated from Monarch High School in Louisville, Colorado, and plans to study Marketing at Leeds. During high school, she served as president of Making HERstory, where she promoted women's empowerment, and was a member of her DECA leadership team, qualifying for the Colorado DECA State Conference twice and advancing to ICDC. Outside of academics, Elizabeth loves music, going to concerts, spending time with family and friends, trying new coffee shops and restaurants, getting outside, and volunteering in her community. Mattea McQueen is beyond excited to attend the Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº, where she plans to study finance and entrepreneurship. In high school, Mattea enjoyed serving her community through both the Apex High School's Student Council and National Honor Society. Outside of academics, Mattea traveled and competed as a nationally recognized equestrian and competitive horse judge. For fun, Mattea loves being outdoors (especially hiking), working out, and being with friends. Noah Meltzer grew up in San Diego and then moved to Boise, ID where he graduated from Boise High. During high school, he was a four-year varsity letterman on the 2x state champion golf team, serving as captain his senior year. Noah produced an album of original music under the name MELTZR. Outside of academics, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing golf and most sports (basketball, tennis, frisbee, skiing), and listening to and playing music (he is a drummer) He is honored join the Leeds Scholars Program and looks forward to growing as a student, classmate and young professional.Ìý

Throughout high school, Brogan was involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, DECA, FBLA, and Student Government, where he served as the Student Body President. During high school, he played varsity football and served as a captain for the lacrosse team, as well as competing in surfing competitions. Olivia Olesen is from NYC and graduated from the Dwight School. During school, she was part of the IB program while also serving as captains of both the varsity tennis team and swimming team. During junior and senior year Olivia also served as a junior analyst for a manager of a fund-of-funds. As a Leeds Scholar, she is excited to continue exploring the field of business. Matthew Valter is a graduate of Peak to Peak Charter School in Lafayette, Colorado. He plans to study Real Estate at the Leeds School of Business. During high school, Matthew served as captain of his varsity hockey team, helped lead the Entrepreneurship and Innovation club, and Finance Club. He worked at a local Waterpark as a headguard and worked on real estate properties for showings and fixings. Matthew hopes to build a career in real estate investment and development, focusing on acquiring his real estate license. Outside of academics, he enjoys hockey, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and exploring Colorado’s outdoors.

Lucas Wieland is a graduate of Monarch High School in Louisville, Colorado. His focus is marketing with an integration of design, as one of his hobbies is digital design and art. Lucas also enjoys working out, racing go karts, and meeting new people in his free time. He is excited to explore the opportunities of the Leeds Scholars Program.
Annika Wilson is a graduate from Prospect Ridge Academy High School. During high school, she participated in Science Olympiad, NHS, Karate, multiple peer tutoring clubs, and held the co-president position in NAHS. In her free time, she loves going to the gym, hanging out with friends, traveling, creating collages, and discovering new music. Annika is looking forward to expanding her connections and travel in the FGX trip!Ìý
