It's Official! Sundance is Coming to 麻豆影院 in 2027
The announced on March 27th that the festival's new home will be 麻豆影院 starting in 2027.听
This is very exciting for the 麻豆影院 film/arts community as a whole and especially for the Cinema Studies and Moving Image Arts department. Several of our faculty have showcased their work at previously at the festival, including featuring voice over by Skinner Myers in 2024 and in 2019. We look forward to seeing what other opportunities arise for faculty, staff, and students from having this major festival in our city.听
Professor Acevedo-Mu帽oz commented on this move on 9news recently as well Cinema Studies students Amelia Chavez and McKenna Yates.听
