The Information Science minor teaches you to analyze data, design and evaluate interfaces, and study how technology shapes the people who use it. The coursework pairs with any CU Â鶹ӰԺ major, from journalism to business to healthcare.
Requirements. The minor takes 19–22 credit hours. You take an introductory course (INFO 1111, Understanding the World Through Data, or INFO 1121, Designing Interactions), an information-literacies course such as INFO 1701, Programming for Information Science 1, and four electives, two of them upper-division. Each course needs a C- or better, your GPA across INFO coursework must reach 2.0, and at most six transfer credit hours count toward the minor. The lists the current courses.
