Next year’s workshop will be held from March 1 – March 5, 2027 in Â鶹ӰԺ, Colorado, USA, and will focus on latent genetic modeling. The syllabus has yet to be decided upon, but topics will be similar to previous ISG workshops with a latent genetics theme: univariate and multivariate twin models; causes of variation; biometrical genetics; OpenMx; regression, path analysis, matrix algebra, optimization; binary and ordinal data; multilevel modeling; between group heterogeneity; continuous heterogeneity, sex limitation and G×E interaction; multivariate models and genetic analysis; GREML; genomic SEM; developmental models; direction of causation modeling; polygenic risk scores; Mendelian Randomization; statistical power; and responsible conduct of research.
