BA & BFA in Theatre

Undergraduate theatre majors can pursue a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree or a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a concentration in Acting or Design/Technology. All students enter the program as BA students. Auditions to transition into the BFA Acting or BFA DTM pathways happen in March every year.Ìý

BA in Theatre

The BA program in theatre is a broad-based program of theatre practice and study for the student seeking a foundational theatre education rather than specializing in a single track.Ìý

BFA in Theatre

The BFA degree concentrations in theatre offer pre-professional training to a limited number of highly motivated and talented students aiming at professional careers. The BFA student can pursue one of two concentration areas: Acting, Design/Technology/Stage Management.
