Six life science scholars will embark on their PhD studies and contribute their unique cultural experiences to the CU Â鶹ӰԺ campus this fall through a nearly $1.9 million gift to the university from the Shurl and Kay Curci Foundation.

Nine CU Â鶹ӰԺ students and alumni have been named Fulbright finalists for the 2022–23 academic year by the U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. One student declined the scholarship and another five students were named alternates.

The Â鶹ӰԺ Valley School District has updated its 2022–23 academic calendar to align the district’s spring break dates with those of CU Â鶹ӰԺ. For a number of years, CU Â鶹ӰԺ’s and BVSD's spring break dates have matched, which is helpful to many CU Â鶹ӰԺ employees and CU Â鶹ӰԺ parents and families with students enrolled in the school district.
