Business, Finance and Infrastructure (BFI) Staff Council (formerly IROCC), in partnership with Aims Community College (Aims), is offering a self‑paced GED program designed to help staff complete their GED.Ìý

Program details:

The program provides structured online learning through Aims, and CU Â鶹ӰԺ Facilities Management supports participants by allowing up to 2 hours per week of study time during approved work hours (with supervisor support). To be successful, participants should also plan to dedicate 4-6 hours of study time outside of work each week. New this year, every GED participant will be paired with a mentor through the BFI Mentor Program — a partner who will help you throughout your GED journey.

Enrollment for the GED Program is open and will remain open until Fri. Sept. 4. This is a great moment to take the next step toward your goals — to build your confidence, build your skills, and build your future.Ìý

• Enrollment is open now through 5pm on Fri. Sept. 4.
• Staff may work on GED during approved work hours (up to 2 hours per week), with supervisor support
• Success also requires commitment outside of work — including 4-6 hours per week (outside of work hours) to study, prepare, and stay on track.

Amber Pleasant from Aims will be on campus on September 10Ìýto meet with GED students, walk through the GED infrastructure, and answer questions. She will host two identical sessions, held in person at the EH&S building.
